Steps in Light-O-Rama Installation
Picking out the music
Depending on your budget we can go two different options. Option 1: You pick out songs from a list of pre-programmed songs. Option 2 (Deluxe Option): You choose the songs you want and we program lights to work with those songs.
House Layout
We upload a picture of your house and add all the lights you want to be included in the light show. We assign each strand a channel in our units which will turn on at the correct programmed time.
Timing the lights to the song
We map out the song using the rhythm. We can then turn on the channels at the appropriate time, which turn the lights on and off adding the desired effects.
The units
Each unit can control 16 channels. Each channel can light up multiple strands of lights and all the lights on that channel will light up when that channel is activated. The more channels you have the more power you will have over individual light strands.
FM Transmitter
We use the computers AUX jack to hook up an FM Transmitter to a radio station in your area with little interference.
